A missing piece?
How can we help?
Most questions are answered below. If yours isn’t, write to us and a person will reply.
Playing
How do I start?
Open Little Red Riding Hood on the Tales screen and pick a scene. Choose 24, 49 or 100 pieces, then drag pieces from the tray onto the board. They click into place when they’re close. Finish the scene to restore its page in your storybook.
I’m stuck. Is there help?
Preview shows the whole picture for a moment. Edges sorts out the edge pieces. Hint points to where a piece belongs. Settings → How to play & gestures covers zooming, tray paging and other controls.
Can I play with VoiceOver or without dragging?
Yes. With VoiceOver on, every piece and board slot can be found and you can place pieces by tapping. Settings also has left-handed mode, high-contrast pieces and reduced motion.
How do keepsakes work?
Restore all ten pages of a tale to earn its keepsake. Restore all ten at 100 pieces to gild it. Each size keeps its own progress, so replaying a scene at another size doesn’t erase anything.
Purchases and downloads
What’s free and what do tales cost?
Little Red Riding Hood is completely free. Every other tale lets you play its first scene free; the rest of the tale is a one-time purchase. The American Seasonal Pack unlocks three tales together. There are no subscriptions or ads.
I bought a tale but it isn’t unlocked.
Check that you’re online and signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with, then open Settings → Restore purchases. If a family member needs to approve the purchase (Ask to Buy), the tale unlocks once they do.
The download stopped or failed.
Open Settings → Manage downloads and tap the tale to try again. Downloads need a connection and some free space. On mobile data the app asks before downloading large tales. Once a tale is downloaded it plays offline.
Can I free up space?
Yes. In Settings → Manage downloads, remove a tale’s artwork. You keep the purchase, your progress and your storybook pages, and can download it again for free.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and choose the purchase.
About the game
How was the art made?
The scenes were made with AI image tools, then art-directed, chosen and turned into puzzles by Krzysztof Radomski. The paper-cut look is a visual style; the pictures aren’t photographs of physical paper. The retellings are gentle adaptations of classic public-domain tales.
Progress and devices
Will my progress move to a new device?
When you’re signed in to iCloud, your completion history and keepsakes follow you to a new iPhone or iPad. Storybook pages and puzzles that are halfway done stay on the device where you played them. Purchases come back with Restore purchases.
My achievements aren’t in Game Center.
Sign in to Game Center in your device’s Settings, then reopen the game. Keepsakes and achievements earned earlier are reported the next time the game opens.
Still need a hand?
Tell us your device, iOS version and what happened. A screenshot helps. You’ll find the app version in Settings → Help & support. Please don’t send passwords or payment details.
